Villa Widmann-Borletti was built by architect Baldassarre Longhena, upon commission of Ludovico Widmann in 1656, where a XI century Benedectine monastery previously laid its foundations. The most impressive statues, carved by Antonio Bonazza in 1742, are those representing the main characters of the Commedia dell'Arte.
